Messy Church – December 2022

Messy Nativity 18th December 2022

There was a “Christmas tree” of shiny parcels waiting to be opened as good crowd told the familiar story together in rhyme and song. A whole cast of characters had been knitted by Janet including angels for everyone which were waved aloft as we sang Glory to God, Alleluia! We gave her a big round of applause in appreciation – they must have taken her months to produce! Miriam had written our prayers in rhyming couplets, we sang a version of the Twelve Days of Christmas, and after Happy birthday to Jesus shared tea, toast and birthday cake. A lovely friendly morning together.

Next Messy Church January 15th at 10 am. Make a New Year’s resolution to come and join us. You will be very welcome.
