Make Time for Christmas Concert – A.O.S.
“What a joyful way to bring in Christmas to an audience full of
anticipation of escaping the dark mood of an evil virus. That
‘escape’ was the ‘gift’ of the Acton Operatic Society singers.
They lifted the hearts of everyone with their lovely singing and
clever choice of Christmas related songs.
There was great humour, warmth and reminders of the
Christmas joy and love we value so much at this special time.
The bright ‘bling’ costumes were delightful – adding to the
sparkly display of Christmas trees.
The second half was even warmer than the first half – helped
by the serving of hot savouries and mulled apple juice brought
to us by the kind helpers. Thank you singers and the wonderful
Acton team”.

Carol Service and Christmas Tree Festival
The Christmas Tree festival was a great success, the church looked fabulous.
We had an amazing number of festival goers and are very grateful for all their donations.
Thank you to all our sponsors and visitors.
A carol service was led by Rev Anne Lawson and The organist was Peter Foster.
Mulled wine and mince pies were served at the rear of the church after the Service.
Visitors could also view 25 Christmas trees inside the church, each dressed to depict popular Christmas carols and songs.
“We sing Christmas carols because they are a way of telling the story of the nativity and the birth of Jesus Christ.”
