Donations

Donations to St Mary’s can be given through The Parish Giving Scheme website which will require you to register your details.

Alternatively other options are payment by cash; via the contactless card machine in church or via online banking as a Standing Order.  If you wish to donate by cash in church, it would be much appreciated if you could complete and enclose your donation in one of the envelopes (if you are a tax payer) located in the pew holder.

Donations currently received by Standing Order are still welcome but we would like to move to The Parish Giving Scheme which streamlines the work involved for the Treasurer.

REMEMBER: If you move your donation from Standing Order to The Parish Giving Scheme it will be a matter of cancelling the Standing Order request with your Bank, onceyour Parish Giving Scheme donation has been processed, to avoid duplication.

Gift Aid

Where possible, if you are a tax payer it would be appreciated if you could “Gift Aid” your donation as the Church will receive an extra 25% on top of your donation.

As well as selecting Gift Aid on The Parish Giving Website there is also an option to maintain the value of your gift by periodically adjusting the donation.  This option is explained when completing the registration.
