Messy Church – September 2024
Old Macdonald sewed some seeds but not all did very well! We sang the parable of The Sower with great performances by the children as blackbirds, seeds and weeds and discovered what sort of soil we need to be if the kingdom of God is to flourish.
Miriam’s Malteser prayers went down well then we made edible pots of soil, prayer-crows, and pecking birds while the discussion focused on what was Jesus’ appeal as a massive audience gathered at the lakeside.
