St Mary’s Acton Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration.
St Mary’s Acton Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration included an exhibition illustrating different events and memories throughout the Queen’s reign. There was also a special Tea at the Tower to mark the event with sandwiches, cake, and tea.
The church was full of many fabulous exhibitions, and outside there were classic country coaches and a Nantwich Fire engine. Activities included a treasure hunt, a crown competition and rounders.
A Jubilee Folk Band entertained, and an impromptu performance from Jessica Thayer was a highlight.
