Christmas at Messy Church – December 2024
We were given difficult things to do in November just like Mary who was told she would be the mother of Jesus! Puzzled, amazed, scared but then very happy as she sang her song of praise we call the Magnificat. We made decorations for our Songs of Praise Christmas tree and a display of Messy Church members singing Allelu Allelu!
In December we accompanied Mary and Joseph on the greatest journey to Bethlehem. We shared Jesus’ birthday cake and decorated nativity baubles to take home. Peter’s group heard about the origins of the 6th century advent carol ‘O come, O come Emmanuel’.
On January 19th we are celebrating our 10th birthday! We’d love to see you – 10am.
