Messy Church – June 2025

Messy Church – 15th June 2025

It’s a mystery, how can 3 be 1 and 1 be 3? On Trinity Sunday we thought about God being the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and acted out the baptism of Jesus when the voice of God, the Spirit as a dove and Jesus the Son were all present together. Our doll Lulu was baptised, we prayed like a pretzel and did the Holy Hokey Cokey!

We plaited friendship bracelets in three colours and decorated Trinity biscuits – hopefully some made their way to Dad for Father’s Day! Peter’s group looked at how hymns from different ages expressed the Trinity, including the Celtic hymn ‘St Patrick’s Breastplate’ emphasising God’s whole Creation.

Join us next time, 20th July at 10am.
