Messy Church – Mothering Sunday 2023

Messy Church – Mothering Sunday – 2023

“I’ll love you always, no matter what.”  We shared the story of a mother and her grumpy son, then Sarah, her boys and a very long sari helped us understand the kind of love that God has for each of us – a love that surrounds us and never lets go even when we get things wrong or forget about him.

The Bible reminds us that we should try to love like this and the children dressed themselves in compassion, kindness, gentleness, patience, tolerance and most importantly love which holds us all together.  We decorated heart shaped biscuits, and made cards and gifts for the people who care for us while Peter’s group found out more about Paul’s missionary journeys and his letter to the new Christians in Colossae.

Join us next time Sunday, 16th April, 10am for Easter – New Life.
