Messy Church – November 2022

November 2022

Ironically we had sun streaming through the windows at this morning’s Messy Church when we were exploring “light in the darkness”! We discovered how essential, comforting and uplifting light is, and how Jesus “the light of the world” inside us can make even the darkest moments of our lives easier to bear. He is always there to comfort, guide and encourage us. His command to us “to shine as lights in the world” isn’t easy but just like a little light in a lighthouse which relies on mirrors and lenses to reflect far in to sea, the love and kindness we show to others is all the brighter if we have Jesus in our hearts. We made sparkly lanterns, candles and stars along with a string of “lights of the world” (that’s us!) to put our Messy Church Christmas tree. Peter’s group discussed God-created light, man-made light and how to walk in the light of the Lord.

Join us for Messy Nativity 18th December 10am – full of surprises!
