Messy Church – September 2023

Messy Church – September 2023

Everyone enthusiastically retold the Creation story on Sunday; we sang versions of Psalms to praise God for all he has provided and thought about what we can do to look after his world. Sue Hull talked to us about Forest Church and we read together the psalm the group had written earlier this year – we look forward to hearing the music for it! We crafted various insects, decorated gingerbread butterflies and started to furnish the Messy Church Apartments in the bug hotel in the churchyard with dry plant material to encourage insects. Pete’s group looked at the Bible verses in more detail and considered the fragility of life on earth.

Join us October 16th at 10am to hear another of Jesus’ stories “Everyone is invited!”
