Messy Church – August 2023
God made the earth in 6 days and on the seventh he had a rest – It was good! We too need some rest and refreshment after whatever kind of busy week we have had. Jesus knew this and argued with the Pharisee whose rules about what you could and couldn’t do on the Sabbath made life very difficult! After our drama when our disciples ate grain from the field and someone had their withered arm healed, there were all sorts of games and activities to play including an eye-opening photo quiz in the Church, table football, shuttlecock and table tennis, while Pete’s group discussed the Sabbath in the Bible.
