Creation Praise – September and October
Thank you, God, you’re wonderful! This was the refrain to our Messy Psalm written by Sue Hull using our ideas as we praised God for his creation in song and with some very loud bagpipes created by the children. We watched images of God’s world alongside Psalm 148 and threw an inflated globe around in our prayers. Pete’s group looked at the range of psalms and the styles in which they were written.
In October we followed our Creation banners as Carol and Oscar read out how God made the world, especially us! “Wonderfully and fearfully made” all unique with different gifts and talents. We had demonstrations of gymnastics, ballet and tap to show bodies in action, knitting and sewing projects shown, published poetry, a loaf of homemade bread and juggling! We made fruits of the earth kebabs, and created animals and birds using origami. Others looked at Genesis 1 and 2 in more detail.
Join us next time, 16th November at 10am.
