Messy Church – July 2023
We were travelling light this morning with the disciples who were sent out by Jesus to do God’s work wearing only the clothes they stood up and hoping for a welcome! We discovered we don’t need lots of stuff, just ourselves to be ready with a friendly smile, a listening ear or invitation. Actions speak louder than words! We decorated ginger biscuits as plates of food (spaghetti and meatballs very popular!) and painted a pocket pal pebble to take with us wherever we go. Peter’s group discussed the disciples and pilgrimage today.
