Messy Church – August 2024
It was fun and games at Messy Olympics this month, when we found out that anyone can be on Jesus’ team. You don’t have to be the fastest, strongest or most perfect! The children built up our memory verse in duplo while everyone else puzzled it out on paper “let us run the race that is before us and never give up” (Hebrews 12 v 1). We all became Olympic rings as we offered our prayers to God, decorated edible medals, threw bean bags at a target, made a discus from paper plates and ran the discus final when Phillip got the gold! The less sporty concentrated on the verses from Hebrews.
