Messy Church – May 2023

Messy Church – 21st May 2023

We had a visual retelling of Jesus’ story of the mustard seed on Sunday and learnt that having “faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains”. We heard about Esther from Malawi who has been helped by her strong faith and Christian Aid to make a better life for her family and community all starting from the planting of the humble pigeon pea!  We made bread in bag (with ordinary flour, we couldn’t find any pigeon peas locally!), and sowed trays of peas which will produce some tasty shoots in 2-3 weeks.  We sewed our own seeds of love by sending £273.50 to Christian Aid.

Join us on Father’s Day,  18th June at 10am
