Christmas at Messy Church – January 2025
There was a good crowd at Messy Church in January when we celebrated at a wedding in Cana and our 10th birthday! The wine ran out at the wedding and Jesus came to the rescue – a miracle – the first “sign” pointing to who Jesus really is – the Son of God. Bishop Sam was with us to help explain it all, God wants us the very best for us right now. We sang ‘The Feast is ready’, decorated celebration cakes and heart jigsaws to remind ourselves of God’s love for us while others looked at how the Old Testament prophets predicted this new age to come.
We rounded off the celebration with a lovely cake (thanks Sarah!) while photos from 10 years of Messy Church brought back some good memories.
