Messy Pentecost
We celebrated Pentecost in May when the Holy Spirit in wind and flames came down on the disciples and changed their lives for ever. “Hello” and “Jesus is Lord” were loudly shared in many languages by our cosmopolitan MC family, including visitors from Sweden, to show how the disciples’ message was understood by everyone. We all wore flame badges to show we are part of God’s family, and prayed with balloons! We made wind spinners for the garden, flame biscuits and Peter’s group looked at how Luke, writing his second account in Acts, describes the beginnings of the early Church at Pentecost.
