Messy Harvest September 19th

Messy Harvest September 19th

We were showered with good things at Messy Harvest in September!

We thought about all the good things God provides and how we shouldn’t keep them all for ourselves. In our story we heard how so much of what we eat and use comes from all over the world and our map was soon filled with donations for Nantwich Food bank.

We bashed a piñata full of goodies, decorated carrot buns and made placemats to thank God for our food. Others learnt about Jewish harvest customs in the OT, were reminded of Jesus’ words about our plentiful world and discussed the challenges for food production in a changing climate.
